Hello everyone,
I hope the summer has been treating you well. Congratulations to all of you who participated in the

Spring Concert at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica. The audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy

Songs of Praise under the direction of Mike Roddy. Your continued participation and support of our

concerts is wonderful and greatly appreciated.


The fall rehearsal season, under the direction of our artistic director and conductor, Randy Davis, will

begin on Monday, September 13, 7:30 p.m., in Room 224 of Johnson Hall at Herkimer County

Community College. Rehearsals are two hours each week, concluding at 9:30 p.m. New members are

ALWAYS welcome. . . please feel free to invite another singer to join us.


The next concert, Sing NOEL, is scheduled for Sunday, December 12, at 7:30 p.m., at a

venue to be announced. The music will include: From a Far Off Land, And The Glory from

the Messiah, Sing Unto God, Domine Fili Unigenite from the Vivaldi Gloria, He Came Down

That We May Have Love, Hallelujah from Mount of Olives, Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy, and

Pavane for a Silent Night.


The music cost will be $15.00. The Choral Society dues for this semester will be $12.00. (If you have Virgin Mary Had

a Baby Boy from a previous concert, please feel free to reuse it this semester. We did this in 2006, and will include it

again this winter.)


We hope to see MANY of you in attendance for this semester. Enjoy the rest of the summer! We look

forward to seeing you on September 13th for the season’s first rehearsal at HCCC. Please complete the

enclosed form, and bring it with you to our first rehearsal.
